Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night on the inner courtyard

This is Shakespeare’s greatest and last pure comedy, the master at the height of his art. The play explores the great obsessions of human life: love, jealousy, class, gender, greed and passion. And if it explores the serious within us it also revels in merriment: drinking has a key place in the play as does song and laughter in all its forms from melancholy wit to slapstick comedy.

The American Drama Group will perform this classic play of Shakespeare at September 7 at the courtyard of the Muiderslot. They play under any weather conditions. The international cast of the American Drama Group have played Twelfth Night many times around the globe with success.

The show starts at 18.00 and will take 2,5 hours. The regular price is 23 euros, students pay 12 euros. For more information and tickets, click here.
